Rules
Manage business rules that affect payroll calculations
How Rules Work
Default Payroll Rules (Always Active)
- 8 hours per day → then Overtime
- 40 ST hours per week → then Overtime
- Saturday & Sunday → all Overtime
Drive Time Rules (Always Active)
- Drive time does NOT trigger daily overtime
- Drive time counts toward 40-hour weekly threshold
- Drive time is DRVE1 (ST) until weekly hours exceed 40
- Drive time over 40 weekly hours → DRVE2 (OT)
Note: Custom rules override default earn code calculations when their conditions are met.
